The above quotation comes from the front page of the yearbook for the Hermann Senior High School, Class of 1983. Hello! I hope this page is found by my fellow classmates of the H.H.S. class of 1983 (Hermann, Missouri). I'm Dawn (formerly Fehrmann), the creator of this web site. When I got the idea to do this site, I decided to get my senior yearbook out and look at it. I had to dig it out of a box in an unfinished, unused room upstairs in the house I was living in at the time. It had been in that box since we moved to Kansas from a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri in March of 1995. I realized as I headed upstairs to get it that I didn't even remember what the cover looked like. (For those of you who are like me, that's it in the corners of the top of this page!) As soon as I pulled it out of the box, the memories came flooding back. Then I read the above quotation on the first page, and I thought how much more those words mean to me that day then they did 15 years earlier. I thought it would be a fitting way to open up the Web Site. It's hard to believe that it's been almost 18 years since we all walked down the aisle in the gymnasium of old H.H.S. to the sound of the school band playing, "Pomp and Circumstance," but it has. It was Thursday evening, May 19, 1983 at 8:00 p.m. A lot has happened in my life since that night, as I'm sure that a lot has happened in all of your lives too. I've recently become more nostalgic about things past, so I thought this Web site would provide a forum by which we could get in touch with lost classmates as well as reminisce. As I mentioned before, I live in Kansas now, and I don't get back to Hermann too much. It's hard to believe that the high school we went to no longer has students walking the same halls we did, or graduating in the same gymnasium we did.
